To welcome 2023, the City of Amsterdam held a 600-drone light show over the IJ in front of the A'DAM Tower, combined with fireworks. Flyby Guys was pilot in command (PIC) for the show.

About the show
The show told a story of connection and inclusiveness, with formations including a heart, a rainbow, the three crosses of Amsterdam's coat of arms and dancing figures, alongside a professional fireworks display. Bad weather meant the show was moved to two days after New Year's Eve, a good example of why outdoor shows always need a backup date.
