Introducing FlybyOps: Built for the next generation of BVLOS drone operations

August 11, 2026

We’re excited to introduce FlybyOps, an enterprise drone operations platform built to support organisations scaling complex BVLOS and autonomous drone operations.

At Flyby Guys, we’ve spent years operating drones in real-world commercial environments. As the industry moves towards BVLOS, remote operations and greater levels of autonomy, the operational requirements behind those flights are changing significantly.

Managing a handful of drone missions is one thing. Managing hundreds or thousands of BVLOS flights across multiple aircraft, locations and operational teams is something very different.

That’s where FlybyOps comes in.

Enterprise operations and compliance at its core

FlybyOps provides a central operational environment for managing the people, aircraft, procedures, risks and compliance requirements behind complex drone operations.

The platform brings together functionality including:

  • Flight and mission management
  • Operational risk management
  • Personnel and competency management
  • Aircraft and equipment management
  • Incident reporting and corrective actions
  • Document and procedure management
  • Operational checklists
  • Role-based access and responsibilities
  • Audits and traceable operational records

Rather than treating compliance as something that happens separately from day-to-day drone operations, FlybyOps integrates it directly into the operational workflow.

This creates a structured and auditable record of operations, something that becomes increasingly important as organisations move towards higher-frequency BVLOS and autonomous flights.

Built for BVLOS at scale

FlybyOps has been developed around the requirements of enterprise organisations preparing to scale BVLOS and autonomous drone operations.

Today, the platform is already being used by drone operators globally to manage and support BVLOS flight operations.

It is designed for environments where remote operators, distributed aircraft fleets, ground personnel and automated workflows need to operate within a consistent operational and compliance framework.

As those operations grow, FlybyOps provides the oversight, traceability and operational control required to manage increasingly high volumes of flights.

Built around customer feedback

A huge amount of work has gone into getting FlybyOps to where it is today.

A special thank you goes to Danish Yasin, who has been leading the product over the past few months, working closely with customers, turning their feedback into product improvements and continuously iterating on the platform.

That work is helping us build a robust enterprise platform that is already showing its ability to scale alongside increasingly complex drone operations.

From individual flights to autonomous operations

We believe the drone industry is entering an important new phase.

BVLOS regulation, U-space, autonomous aircraft and remote operations are creating the foundations for drones to move beyond individual projects and become part of everyday logistics, infrastructure and industrial operations.

The software infrastructure supporting those operations needs to evolve with them.

Stephen Sutton, CEO of Flyby Guys, commented:

“The challenge changes completely when you move from operating a few drones to running hundreds or potentially thousands of BVLOS flights. It becomes much less about managing an individual flight and much more about managing the entire operational system behind it.

FlybyOps is being built for that transition, giving enterprise operators the compliance, operational control and visibility they need to safely scale autonomous drone operations.”

For Flyby Guys, FlybyOps represents an exciting opportunity to combine our experience in commercial drone operations with technology designed for where we believe the industry is heading next.
